Get a lease. It’s baked in.
That’s the ticket until they close that loophole. Any income level, foreign EVs and PHEVs, any price point.
Is it easy to get that? Or is it a huge hassle to convince dealers to pass that credit to us?
Why would high earners specifically be incentivized?
Businesses are incentivized, so why not high income earners?
Businesses buy to save money for their fleets across hundreds or thousands of vehicles. How many are you planning to purchase?
Such a dumb question
Care to elaborate?
Incentivizing high income earners? Are you kidding me? EVs are more expensive, this incentive is for people who can’t afford it, just like FHA loans for first time home buyers, it’s part of inflation reduction act.
Do a lease and buy out within 1 week. U can get the $7.5k federal rebate
Wow! Good idea lol Do sellers generally pass the tax credit to renter / buyer? Is it a big hassle to get that?
Who would sell?
How does the lease bypass work??? Providing the subsidy for only lower income is so dumb
Yes, unfortunately this was one of the concessions Manchin demanded 🙃
The only benefit for high earners is the tax credit for electric vehicle home charger installation
incentive is u see someome making less than half what u make driving a better car. u will feel incentivized to move off ur 10yo Civic
I would buy and then contribute to IRA such that my MAGI is minimum.
I believe the ev charger tax credit is independent of income. You can claim 30% of installation cost up to 1000
And solar tax credit as well.

Which degree is more worth it?
Unfortunately, no. We bought a bmw ix in 2023 and no tax benefits.
Lucky you, I got mine in 2022 at the peak 🥲
Yeah, we ordered in 2022. Early adopter issues still exist today.
