What are the current EY salaries for manager level? Also can you negotiate for them to buy out your bonus? Location: NYC Current tc: 152k YOE: 6 @EY
Why would anyone choose big4? What are your goals?
Big 4 is probably one of the easiest paths to big money if you’re willing to sacrifice your time.
No, it absolutely isn't. Been there done that.
If you know anyone with access to Fishbowl, which is like blind for Consulting, they can search around and find a spreadsheet of the salary bands
Manager EY in NYC? Probably $100k base. It’s going to be meager, Big 4 is a grind, they have 20 more of you if you leave. You aren’t a commodity, just a cog to grind out hours at meager pay.
Closer to 150 in New York, with a possible 20% bonus if you are among the favored brown Noser‘s in the stack ranking
For tech consulting you can earn 200k for Manger role. Especially for Data & Analytics roles . The manager title is itself not enough to provide a salary estimate. Assurance pays much lower than Advisory. Parthenon pays the most and any internal CBS role would pay as much as Assurance.
200K will be the upper limit, only HCOL will make that much and also depends on level

What's your education level and license?
Depends on location, job family, org, etc. $152K is within manager range, you may get 10% more.
