Early Career DS/DE/ML role @ Twitter/Shopify Canada

Hello, Wondering if there are some early career roles in those companies. Shopify is hiring like crazy but only has senior/staff roles in Canada. Wondering if any team have some internal openings which is not visible by external applicant. I know this fact because one of the friend got invitation by HM directly. I feel bad to see early career roles are filled by internal folks mostly who switch to DS/DE roles from sometimes vague career track like sales or account executives. For Twitter, my application is under review but not sure if any team would be interested in entertaining for an interview. Advice, referrals appreciated!
