Current TC: ₹35 LPA fixed [IND] YOE: 5.5 I am right now 28 years old and want to pursue MS. But kind of confused. Is this the right age to pursue MS now? As I will be graduating at 30 and after paying loan at 31 will be starting again from 0. Also VISA stress and marriage problem (Yes, I want to be stable at right time) after 31, all the struggle in USA. Is it worth going for MS now considering my current salary at India. Also I could use these 3 years to build something of my own in India. How is the scenario in USA right now and will be. VISA stress is hyped or the situation is that much worse over there? #MS #Software #Help #CS #Engineering #SDE #google #microsoft #faang #amazon
So, what changes after getting h1b Visa? How much time it takes to get green card after getting H1B? What are some benefits of H1B Visa wrt L1B or L1A Visa? Kindly answer, since I am a noob in these US Visa policies
If you want to rake in money by the truckloads go to USA. If you're happy with your lifestyle in India, stay back in India
Do you have truckload of money ?
Ya... Earning it all in USA
Another option would be to do masters part time (assuming you're doing it only for knowledge and opportunities and not to settle in a different country), and move to another country through employment if you want to gain international experience and decide whether you want to stay there or not... Doing MS would mean losing opportunity cost.
My main motivation is to move to the USA for the American dream. Going to the USA through employment doesn't look possible. MS is the only option I think so. Any other options?

Not worth moving to the US for the reasons you called out. Your life is going to be very unstable until you get H1B which could take between 1 and n years to get.
What are other reasons for which you want to stay. And considering new rules filing H1B 1 for a single passport. Wouldn't it be easier to get H1B. I will be having 3 years OPT
