I filed i 140 and I 485 on March 21, 2017. It is 11 months and no update since then. It is case of concurrent filing, if anyone has experience of concurrent filing at Nebraska under eb1c, please share your experience, any info will be helpful?
EB1Cs are facing more scrutiny because of fake manager titles a lot of companies are using to get EB1C. Be prepared for an RFE.
The most abused category by some offshoring companies. Seems new USCIS director knows whats going on .
The i140 case status thing is not always updated, mine is still returning a status from 3 months ago. You wouldn't be able to know, only your employer/lawyers get the i140 notice. Have you done fingerprints and got ead/ap card? i485 notices should be addressed to you personally.
I have the same experience- filed within 1week from yours and no updates on i140. I’ve got EAD/advanced parole though
What is the significance of the EAD? Can you change jobs?
180 days past 485 you can switch jobs when you have EAD, AC21 portability, although better to wait for 140 approval before switching because potential RFE will go to previous employer and they might ignore it
Once I-140 is approved does one need to wait until the green card to come in hand before switching jobs? Talking about EB1 concurrent filing.
nope, given the criteria i stated above, checked with 2 lawyers, i'm doing it
Hi which 3 categories did you choose for EB1A ?
I submitted the I140 on Feb 17, 2017, received RFE on Mar 20 :(
I got NOID :(
Nebraska or Texas ? Company lawyer or personal lawyer ? Rfe / Noid after a year would be devastating - I'd rather spend 1000$ and get bad news earlier
I got RFE as well
Was your 1 year experience at the same company (Amazon?) or a subsidy?
