"Chat gpt, write me an email telling this guy he didn't get the job, but make it sound nice"

Amazon wodes Apr 22, 2023

It's a rejection email. What useful content do you expect?

Volvo JiWz37 Apr 22, 2023

A short and nice content is useful for a rejection email.

Amazon wodes Apr 22, 2023

The rejection is the third sentence or the first sentence of the second paragraph. The same content is there.

Recruiters cant write full sentences and now way a recruiter wrote this. Real question is why is OP bent out of shape—seems this hurt their feelings.

They made me write 3 page pdf on why I want the job. And assessment tests on aptitude reasoning and programming which all went good.

Reply with “TL;DR?”

Amazon wodes Apr 22, 2023

TLDR is if you don't see "Congratulations" or equivalent in the subject or first, maybe second, sentence then you're most likely done

They are fucking insane. I think their culture is toxic based only on the hiring process. I wanted to apply before, but decided not to based on the interview requirements. It's all that for a 90k USD job.

My rejection letter was the very same different job and had 80000 applications a month on it. That's an incredible jump for a small ltd company🤣. It's an odd process.
