What’s up friends, As you have heard, the FDIC is most likely seizing first republic bank this weekend or next week. I was wondering if you can give me some advice. I’ve been in banking for the past 6 years, worked in 2 different banks so my resume/experience isn’t so bad. I am thinking of getting out of banking and going into accounting firms and finance in general. Any companies/roles you recommend? Thank you!
What TC you looking at? I just got in at a government regulator with a TC of ~$150k.
I would be relatively happy with $150k. Do you mind submitting a referral for Deloitte?
Lol, did you read my post? No longer there. I’m at a government regulator. Not sure if you want to go to Deloitte rn, even if they’re hiring (which they’re broadly not, aside from a few critical roles). But you might want to go to Fishbowl and ask for a reference from somebody currently employed there.
