I joined Carta because I thought it was a nice mix between a high growth startup (smaller orgs, more room for growth and impact) & an established company (found market fit, some internal systems developed etc). At the end of the day, you should answer it with your own thoughts
What was your offer?
I ask myself the same question every morning lol Jokes apart, it is a market with very few competitors and I have the chance to influence compensation and equity for employees working here. Also, the culture is fantastic and stock value x3 every year.
How is carta process. Do they still ask to do home assignment for software engineers
Yes, the interview process is very different than standard. Takehome and then on-site had a system design round, as well as a round to go over/extend the takehome. No LC style questions
How is the WLB at carta
Cos I might get PIPped here, and I flunked Google, Facebook and other FAANG interviews
