Hi All, Recently got an offer. Citi-VP Finance, base Base175K+10K sign on, no bonus for 2022 Currently an Associate at GS, going into 3rd year, 126K base+33K bonus. 2021 was a good year, bonus will be lower this year. YOE 4.5Y. Current team culture is good, great boss, working 50-55hr weekly, but associate path to vp seems to be around 6 years average in the team. Direct report seems to be a good boss based on interview, not sure WLB, guessing it’s similar to now. Is this a good offer? Heard Citi's bonus is low? How's Citi back-end office culture?Take it or stay longer and look at the long term that GS may have better growth? Thanks! #citibank #citi #goldman #goldmansachs
WLB @Citi is awesome! I love it here. Hybrid schedule is great too.
Hi! are you in back office like finance as well? How’s your hours and can you also share bonus %? Thanks!
I'm in the Irving office. 2 days in the office per week. I usually go from 9 to 4 or 5pm on the days I go in. No bonus yet for me
NONE. Go work at a tech company or join a startup. They’ll probably pay you 120 base and some good stock options.
“VP” at Citi making 175k lol 😂
VP in banking industry isn't a big deal. Not same as VP in Tech
You think this is low or high
Citi for coasting and not get things done.
VP at Citi is quite good: https://www.levels.fyi/?compare=JPMorgan%20Chase,Goldman%20Sachs,Citi&track=Software%20Engineer
How many years of experience do you have? 175 seems pretty good for a finance function
50-55 hr weeks? That's not normal my dude
