The article starts off by mentioning a lawsuit about him unjustly becoming rich from a company where he has little physical presence at. Seriously? Isn’t this true of many CEOs and companies? It’s his company. Who gives a shit if he’s getting rich without being present 100% of the time? The ideal company is one that provides passive income and essentially runs itself. How can he be sued over this? Btw I’m not an Elon fan but I just don’t understand the premise of the lawsuit.
It's not HIS company if it's public.
It's a public company - just like Schulman answers to the board Elon must too. His job is to deliver shareholder value - if his pay package is 56 Billion, he seems to be putting self before shareholder. He should delist and make private.
He bet that electric is the future and had the best insight into how to maximize his wealth. Can’t fault him for that as he still needed to deliver on it. But it’s extremely unlikely anyone else could have even designed such a package and have that board approved
Right? It's nuts! 😅

If your team does daily standups, your manager is a micromanager
If he loses his 56 billion, it means libs are attacking FREE SPEECH in America.
Only if he loses though. Otherwise no.
What does Tesla have to do with free speech? This suit was brought on by a Tesla shareholder.
