Embedded/real-time
Many years back I used to do embedded/real-time. Mostly software and system design. Back at the time, we were looking down to these front-end people (and making much more, BTW). I wonder, how is my old field doing? Is there anybody here working in embedded/real-time? Which company or field? How's the TC?
Many companies do still work on embedded.. TC isn’t bad. It is pretty competitive is what I found

Pay is pretty good. If you're good, it's on par with other software engineering roles. Especially with the whole autonomous vehicles gold rush the number of openings for embedded have increased significantly.
