Enraged that kids prefer KPop to Bollywood. (Installed cams in their rooms)

Bollywood songs have much more powerful and meaningful beats and melodies. Background: We’re Indian (I’m from Chennai), and son and daughter were born and raised in the Bay Area. They are both currently in high school. My kids have been obsessed with KPop. Makes me mad because they completely gloss over our own domestic cultural prowess in Bollywood for some random East Asian cultural export 10 thousand miles away from India. They think that Bollywood backwards and unsophisticated- wtf? And KPop is supposed to be that much better? And their CLASSMATES too are all obsessed with Kpop - Indian, white, Chinese, Korean, etc. - none of these kids are listening to Bollywood, not even the desi kids. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Korean/Chinese kids dancing to Bollywood. So why are so many of our desi kids dancing to their stuff?😡
