Enterprise engineeer @ Facebook

Got approached by fb recruiter for an enterprise engineer position. Question: what does an enterprise engineer do in FB? checked the job profile and it said that it needed 4+ years of coding knowledge. Will the interview be all coding in nature? TC: 200k

Heard it's very similar to PE

Whats PE?

No, it’s not. EE = Internal IT

It’s SWE for internal tools

Hi can you be more elaborate if you dont mind? Do they ask to code in interview?

I’m not a EE but yes I’d assume it’s just like a SWE interview.

EE org basically builds system in Enterprise space like Supply Chain, Finance, Workplace etc. The services that you build here are mostly internal/external business facing. That being said the org in now getting pretty streamlined with product division and you'll face the same challenges on a smaller scale as any other product based org. Compensation used to be a bit low in terms of stocks but it's same now as SWE and PE AFAIK. You can always switch to a different team/location once you get in with a shorter interview or no interview loop.

I don’t think that the comp is the same as swe/pe yet
