Any seasoned SAs have any tips of how to get into the career path as a new grad? Breaking the question down into what companies to focus? (Names would be helpful not just “b2b duh”) What angles to take to get the first pre-sales job? (LinkedIn DMs, mash cover letters to 3+ yoe postings, etc) Thank you everyone ! It will have to be at larger companies with new grad programs as other poster said above. Cisco, Salesforce, AWS, Check Point are the ones I can think of off the top of my head that have programs like that. Direct outreach to HMs and Recruiters on LI along with referrals when replying are always the most ROI on your time for job hunting. Also may be able to get in at a startup as well if you have some specific knowledge/experience which would be very closely aligned with their product.
IBM also has a sales/pre-sales program
Look into new grad program. Cisco has CSAP. Other companies might have something similar
