What’s the salary for entry level swe at Kansas? How does the cost of living compare to other areas?
70-75k
Around 66k-72k from what i know for academy software engineers
Associate consultants get 47-51....pathetic
Not that bad given that you can get an associate consultant gig with a art degree. Tech degrees get paid more.
My friend gets 68k
1. Entry level swe at Cerner get 68-72k. 2. COL or otherwise, pursue other opportunities if you have any.
Almost all SWE roles are located in MO btw.
Entry level is around 68 to 73k. However if you have 2 to 3 yoe, you can negotiate and go up to 110k which is a very good package in the midwest area.
Lol, there's technology companies in Kansas?
Garmin I think
These Kansas tropes get so old on here... Just a couple examples from the top of my head.... Garmin, Sprint, Cerner, DST, Blooom, VeriShip, ground zero of Google Fiber, NetSmart, Freightquote, H&R Block, Honeywell, various engineering firms...etc...etc..
