I have two offers, one for Epic (Madison, WI) and one for C1 (Richmond, VA or Plano, TX). After all the costs and stipends are factored in, I would be making pretty much the same at each company. In my sophmore year, so I'm not too worried about a return offer, just want one that will help me have a better chance of getting a FAANG internship next year. Which one should I select? Does anyone have any experience with either of these companies? #epic #capitalone #c1
As Ex-CapOne, I have seen almost all interns get an offer after their term. Also, it more a software company than an bank. Would definitely recommend. Only reason I left is cause my team sucked 😂 could've moved teams but got a much better offer elsewhere
I would really, really avoid epic. I’ve heard nothing but horror stories from people there
Hey, have you worked with part-time remote engineers? I’ve seen some of these types of job postings from Capital One and I’m intrigued. Also, what’s the tech stack?
Epic is a legacy company. You should know to avoid
You should take a look at epic’s Reddit page if it hasn’t been shut down yet. There were lots of horror stories about the CEO forcing people to work in person at the office during the height of the pandemic. Lots of erratic decisions made by a CEO that has too much power because it was a private company. Not sure if it is still a private company now
Yeahhhhhh good choice lol
