I am a data scientist at Sam's Club (1 year) after completing my MS. I have worked in India previously for 4 months. I have a data scientist interview with Intuit in August and am wondering if moving there makes sense, after all the bad reviews about Intuit's data science teams on Blind. If yes, how much compensation should I ask for San Diego/Mountain View? I am guessing that I will interview for L4 there. Current base: 119k, Stock: Annually 25k/3 years, Bonus: 15% of base. Current location: Dallas.
Dude, what are you smoking? Intuit vs Sam's club, you got to be kidding me! Intuit is several notches above
Can you tell me what kind of compensation I should seek?
Look it up at levels.fyi, add +30k
What are the bad reviews about Intuit DS? I’d far rather be DS at Intuit than any fang. I do real DS shit and build models here. Who wants to work at Sam’s Club also.
I searched for intuit data scientist on blind and could see nothing but bad reviews
@RRR03 .. apparently you have no idea about bias and sample size.. Please stay at Sam's club !
Intuit is far far better than Walmart.
Levels.fyi doesn't have salaries for senior business data analyst at Intuit. Can someone please let me know a range?
160 base, 250 equity, 20% bonus was what I was quoted for Bay Area. I was told it was top of the SrBA band
Switch out of Sam's Club. I'm at the same exact position as you, and things look really shitty to me. Sam's is centralized/decentralized based on whom you ask, the planning is horrible and they have almost no middle leadership. They only promote workers from Arkansas office and some of the leaders ( his name rhymes with Anus ) are making things up as they go along, not having a long term vision on where things lie. Walmart growth is shit. They have like 10-15% hike upon promotion, and health insurance sucks too. I don't think the only people who are at higher roles are the kind that can do any better, mostly its those who are too old to interview, unambitious or settled with kids so unable to move.
Is L4 senior?
Yes
