Equifax has a lot of data on employees of 10s of millions of Americans. They used it to review and fire 24 employees working another job. Link: How Equifax used employment records it collects from 2.5 million companies to fire dozens of its own employees for working second jobs https://www.businessinsider.com/equifax-fires-employees-for-working-two-jobs-2022-10 What are your thoughts, is this common?
Googlers we’re given the ability to opt out of this bs. It’s how they and other tech companies legally price fix comp in different regions, equity be damned.
How do you opt out?

Privacy violation. Moreover there websites don't even have basic MFA
Gross privacy violation. Now they will get permanently bad pr and for what? To lay off 24 ppl? Instant shittier company for me
It's equifax. Privacy isn't their strength
That's an understatement, Microsoft. I was impacted in it's widescale data breach.
Nowhere in the articles does Equifax say that these fired employees were not meeting expectations in their tasks. They had to spy to locate these few. And their data only found 24 - which doesn't say much about the data or the company's capabilities.
Equifax literally owns TWN which means they can find out if you are OE or not lol
How do they obtain the pay status of so many people across so many companies? Did other companies sell their employee info to them?
They buy/ share data from payroll providers
Company says you can't work two jobs without disclosing it. These people didn't disclose it, and were pulling full time W2s at other companies having the same working hours. Screws the rest of the workers picking up their slack and getting forced to return to office because of the lack of trust.
We heard you slack picker
Just recall: In September of 2017, Equifax announced a data breach that exposed the personal information of 147 million people.
Looks like they just lost 2 dozen employees that were good at their job 😂
