I want to get into SWE through self study and was curious on what core CS classes I should take online via coursera or udemy etc. Also follow up question but should I have some side projects on my resume or is grinding LC really enough and not just a meme? Im currently a BI analyst atm.

A class about Data structures and algorithm
I've heard grokking coding is really good.
Also curious about how important projects are, and whether only LC is true or just a meme
If you can get interviews, then only LC matters at big companies. If ur resume is getting passed on, then consider adding projects. Since you're not already a dev, u might need to beef up ur resume.
I am curious to know about this too
