Evaluate offer- at&t non-tech
Evaluate my at&t non-tech offer (marketing, communication). Any insights? Career progress, wlb, future of the company? Base: 170k Level 2 Bonus: 11% (based on companys performance, could be more or less) Quarterly bonus: 2k or more (based on individual performance) No rsu, no sign-on bonus (do they ever give sign-on bonus?) TC: 200k? Tia!

Base seems good (would need to know exact title); bonus is standard for L2 based on specific title (no negotiation); quarterly bonus sounds like it’s a dramatization of the discretionary awards from management (hit or miss, YMMV); sign-on is not common for non-tech, so wouldn’t feel too bad about that; you’ll be eligible for RSUs only when you get to L3 (whenever that might happen). For career/wlb/future direction, that can depend heavily on the org (especially with recent changes)…happy to PM to talk specifics.

On my team at least, most people aren't getting quarterly bonuses. That's more for top performers. On the other hand the yearly raise seemed pretty decent on my team (5%) and for the last few years ATTs 11% bonus has pretty much been paid out fully or even higher than that. Depends on business unit a bit though. Your offer seems decent to me (never heard of signing bonuses here) but I'm in DFW so can't evaluate against CA
