How do I evaluate compensation for experienced engineers of 3+ YOE? If I start a start up obviously I can't compete with like databricks so more will be give in equity. If I'm just basing it on base salary would this be fair? Early start up: 150k-200k Well funded series start up: 200k-300k Faang:250k-350k Is this accurate or am I way off? Levels.fyi is good but I'm not able to filter by data properly. Alongside not being able to pay for industry data like Robert half or etc TC: paper money + 120k Yoe:3

Why Worshipping Lord Ram Important in Hinduism?
Most software engineers with 3 yoe will be making 80-120k.But those at top tech companies it’s a different story. Typically it would be: 0-2 yoe -> 200k 2-6yoe -> 300k 6 yoe -> 400k
Right I'm thinking bay area, hcol, VC funded start ups, would you say my ranges are accurate?
We’ll I’m talking about TC and not just base salary. For base salary it would be 120-130k for entry, 150-180k for mid and 180k-230k for senior. Rest is mainly RSU.
