My team is loaded with engineers joining from Google. At least half the team is ex-google. My manager is from Google. My skip is from Google. Even my SVP (JG) is from Google! Clearly, they're dissatisfied with the piss poor salary and growth opportunities, which is highly understandable, but they come over with a nasty attitude! They're arrogant and lazy, and do shit like spouting these numerical estimates of traffic volume and disk space usage (seemingly to try to make themselves look smart) but that I already have the exact numbers for! And after having these extended jerk off sessions about how the disk is allegedly going BLOW UP because we're writing to it so heavily or whatever, they just fucking sit on it and offer NO SOLUTION. I tried simply ignoring them, but the worst part is that whenever I try to actually get any work done, they have to shitpost all over my pull requests with these idiotic nit-picking comments that "the variable name sucks" but offer no suggestions for what they'd like to see. What am I supposed to do? Read your mind for what the fuck a proper variable name looks like? Please stay the fuck at Google. TC: 370k EDIT: And now, I've heard that they've started laying off the recruiters. They've come over here because their home company got so bloated that it could no longer keep their salaries competitive with proper new hire offers and regular promotions, but they've continued to do ZERO WORK, and so now apple is getting all bloated with engineers that just jerk off and brow beat each other all day instead of shipping features! Fuck Google!

Our org has had severe people put on DC in the last 2 years and every single one was from google (except one who was from WITCH). That’s what happens when you combine a rest and vest attitude with a superiority complex. All of them managed to survive DC so good for them I guess.
