I’m 22, and landed a role as an executive assistant business partner at a tech company. I know experience = higher pay, and as I decide whether to continue in this career path, i’m curious what kind of money is in an EA career 👀
Def not an EA but I’ve hired a few. Most make bank on overtime. Base is usually in the 85k-95k with 40k-60k in overtime. If they work for a large tech company, they get stock and bonus too.
Maybe you start with your tc
👆
It absolutely depends on the size of the company. EA at a large publicly traded company can get 200k+ total comp.
C'mon OP I know TC or GTFO is overdone sometimes but you're literally asking others for their comp without sharing your own. So kindly share your TC or GTFO
EAs making $150k while I’m out here writing code for the same? Fuck I need to reevaluate
you should. and maybe understand what an EA does for an executive before you are so shocked. Obviously you can train a toddler to write code but can't train someone for the personality to be an EA.
Some EAs out here making $500k plus. They’re all basically tits on a stick, and real close with their execs
what on earth. you are showing you mid level ness with this comment. you absolutely don't know what EAs do.
Depends on experience. My last job started at 150k at a Fintech company, with a bunch of RSUs. I left after 1.7 years at $155k with equity refresh. I followed an exec I met at that company and now working at start up with him at $145k base. Yes I went for a pay cut but it’s been so worth it. Agree with some of the other comment, EA’s can make up to $200K but the median for an ea with 10+ YEO in SV is $150k. 11 YOE supporting C-suite Based in the Silicon Valley
