This is dumb. If they’re giving equity at their last 2.6B valuation (or even their $5B sale) still - and they’re about to close a round at $15B, you shouldn’t be thinking about a 401k match. Several of friends are going to be millionaires a few times over there.

Oh I agree with you. I accepted an offer there already. It's just something the OP asked that I know about
I don’t know deets for your role, but plaid gives healthy stock. Negotiate for it. Hopefully you get in before their next funding round.
