I need to tell the recruiter what my expected total compensation is (salary, bonus, equity) for Solutions Architect at AWS. The position would most likely be in Chicago. What's a reasonable number?
Or just say one dollar .. don’t fall into that trap
"Undecided"
I'll try to postpone that discussion. Paysa has 369 profiles for Solutions Architect with average TC $187k (All locations). Glassdoor has 104 profiles with average $135k (Chicago). Are these too low?
Is it incorrect to assume that Glassdoor and paysaa doesn’t have right figures ?
That's my main question. Since we don't have a large sample size like we do for say, the entire company (36k Amazon profiles) I'm wondering if these numbers seem right to you.
One Meeeelllion Dollars
I’m interviewing with them. They asked me for expected comp via email and I just didn’t answer the question. They didn’t ask again. Interviewing on-site next week.
