Expected salary range for E 5 ( sr. Manager position ) at Genentech ??

E5 is usually an individual contributor role (S4 is the equivalent role in management which is Senior Manager). I don’t know what the current range is but I remember the average was around 170k or so in base salary.

I received an offer w/ base @ ~165. I have less YoE, so i feel 170 is probably a little below avg. I'm not in commercial, but it's the same global level as E5. Departments may vary.
