Hi, I recently gave an onsite interview for the Azure team, The interview went amazing and I was expecting an offer letter. I reached out to the hiring manager, got his reply today. Attaching the screenshot here. I am really interested in working with the Azure team and based on how the interview went, I'm certain to get an offer, The question is should I go ahead with my other offers or should I wait, as Azure is my dream team? Any help is appreciated. Thanks ~ Using my friend's account to post this. #microsoft #azure #softwareengineer #software #level62 #coronavirus
Your onsite was virtual right?
Same situation for me but my hm requested for a new head count. Took 3 weeks to get role approval and i got offer recently.
Did they level you down?
No, it's the same
Went through something similar before I was given an offer with a different team. Fwiw I had a competing offer so not sure if that helped speed up the process.
I have a competing offer as well, they told me they have hiring freeze and wont make any decision for next two months
My experience was prior to freeze. So ymmv
Good HM.
Good luck palak
Got a call from recruiter saying congratulations and then asking for availability tomorrow for a 10 minute call with a different hiring manager. Seems like I been considered for a different team, is it?
Prepare for good news, recruiters does not say ‘congratulations’ for no good reason. Just don’t say right away and take time for negotiation.
OP, did you hear the good news?

Wait for what really? It’s going to get worse before it gets better. Move on and if they come back then at least re-negotiate the TC even if it requires new interview.
