My friend got an Senior SDE offer fron Expedia with only TC 180 with 8 YOE. It is rediculous comparing to his TC 280k at Amazon. Wondering if anyone is going to work hard with that salary.
Salary is really low at Expedia. Therefore talent options are low. Or we get pip’ed employees from FAANG. I’m talking about Seattle in this case. Apparently in India, Expedia is tier 1. They’ve lost focus and think all their problems are Googles fault. Needless to say, it’s a sinking ship. But yeah WLB is amazing since is all life and no work 😂
