Expedia isnt big on firing now. We have done a lot of lay offs already. You should be fairly safe. As for the offer, it is good for SDE2, almost near top of the band. They have a min-med-max split. Yours is in between med-max of SDE2 because 140 is min of SDE3. Expedia is heavily salary base as there is no more annual bonus. So RSUs are kinda meaningless unless youre M+

I can only talk about my org. But someone asked recently how confident am I in Expediaâs growth. I said not much in general. For technical growth, unless you like rebuilding the same product multiple times and always many steps behind innovation. They use AWS heavily so also if you were into that. Ladder growth is good if you put in the effort (which is little depends on whoâs asking - I was SDE3 internal promo) WLB is pretty great across every org. But not guaranteed for everyone but at least my org was chill. Sprint work was fairly lax, I spend maybe 3-4 hours working per day. Rest of the time nothing since I knew the whole domain, but cant say for others.
