Expedia resignation
I am done with this micromanaging manager! Is two week notice required for resignation in Expedia? If I inform about my resignation, will I be asked to walk away immediately?
At will employment. Two weeks notice is just a nice practice, not enforcement.
Find a job then quit if that's what you want to do
Depends on your management chain. If you’re in the US, one thing to remember is if you leave at the beginning of a month, you will have insurance coverage for the rest of the month.
At-will means you can stand up and walk out whenever you want. They can also show you the door whenever they want. The two weeks is good faith for your coworkers to not leave them in a lurch.

Can you build a relationship with your skip manager and see if that can change?
This works only if the skip manager is really really smart fellow - believe me thats very very rare. I have tried it in two organizations buy failed. Its definitely one of the things I am going to learn myself to identify if any of my insecure reportees are making the lives of his reportees hell.
It always depends, be sure all rsu are vested, before saying you are giving 2 weeks, always be ready to be walked out

Give two weeks. As short as life is to not be miserable, being an asshole can haunt you down the road. A coworker who gets your work dumped on you may not refer you or bomb an interview for you when you apply at a different company down the road.
You have a few options, and resigning is certainly one of them. You can also try an internal transfer to escape your shitty manager. You can also half-ass your work, collect a nice paycheck, and leetcode during the day. Then you don't really have to stress about money while you're studying. You can also take a slower approach or internal transfer, then slowly look for jobs. I get that you're in a shitty situation, but I worry that not having an income source is only going to make things harder on you.

Thank you for your response. I am trying to evaluate all my options. I would like to know what's the procedure to resign. I heard people were asked to walk away when they wanted to leave and gave a 1-2 week notice.
