Experience with automated investing (SoFi, wealthfront, etc)?

Have about 200k that i don't know what to do with. This is outside of emergency savings, etc. Not enough money to bother with an advisor but also don't feel like just cost averaging into an index fund, researching different funds, or stuff like that. Does anyone have good experiences with these automated investing services? Quick search turned up SoFi, wealthfront, and betterment.

These services don't add much value. They are basically just a facade over a target retirement date index fund. And the charge more too. I think wealthfront charges 0.25% which is quite high for what they do. If you want something simple, then I'd recommend vanguard target retirement date fund.

Can't emphasize the importance and relevance of a target date fund. That's the best hands off long term wealth accumulating strategy.
