Experiences joining G or F as T6 after AMZN L6

Looking for experiences of people who went to G or F as T6 after being L6 at Amazon. How big of a jump in scope was it? How does it compare in your view to a PE role (L7)? What were the best and worst things about the transition? How quickly did you become productive? --- Obligatory: 420K/14yoe

Almost no one from L6 at Amazon gets hired at T6 at Google. E6 at Facebook is more common. Though the first year is really painful. Facebook dont mess around.

There is a formal definition but it's the more informal ones that gets harder. E5 are giving longer to ramp up, longer to influence other teams, longer to get familiar with Facebook tools. Formally E6 is expected to deliver larger scale impactful projects vs e5.

I only know 1 person out of 20+ sde3 that I interviewed got E6 offer. Vast majority don't get offer and ones that do, gets E5. Blind data is skewed
