PPA has longevity compared to std cell design, IMHO. I have seen more openings for PPA compared to std cell design. Btw what are you working on currently?
My experience has been in advanced CMOS TD...at the transistor/small circuit level.

Many companies are into this field to create proprietary IP and hiring std cell designers tho... I got Qualcomm offer previously but turned down due to unsatisfying TC...
