Newbie investor

I am starting to invest in stocks and more. I understand that you can’t really time the market, so my question is - Any one source where I can get the basics of what’s what for beginners. - How do you decide on which company to invest? Is it based on the news, investment knowledge sites like motley fool, investment books etc. Or combination of all such things. - What are some of the resources you use? Like websites to check out for upto date info, books to read for making wise investment, Tools to give an edge etc. - What is the best investment tool for serious investment like Fidelity, Charles Schwab etc. Would really appreciate some advice from all you experts out there. Thanks TC: 140k #personalfinance #investments

For the average investor, indexing is the best way to go. Vanguard and fidelity are pretty decent.

The best way to get started and not be overwhelmed by this is through the help of a broker and financial advisor www.miracbailey.com
