There's no denying MSFT is a much bigger company market cap wise than NFLX. But I don't know how that matters for an employee. If anything, you care about the market cap growth rate, not the market cap per se. NFLX belonged to FANG due to its outperformance of the last decade. And no FAAMG is the new FANG. You need to look into ARK compositions to find them.
Their product was excellent 5 years ago and their product is excellent today. I do not think netflix changed their codebase in last 4-5 years. Obviously they do not need engineers anymore. They only need maintenance guys and deal-makers to get new shows and movies on netflix.
