Should I marry a lazy girl?
No. Past traction of exits is the only thing that matters. Failed exists are counted as valuable too. Wage slaving at FANG (and being proud of it) is not as valuable as you think.
Even then, they won’t hire you for your advertising value. Investors raise money from vast pool of accredited investors for whom Google stamp has wow value. But that value is meaningless when it comes to startup experience, building things and successful outcomes.
When ppl say FANG experience gives you pedigree, does it also apply to the same degree for ex-Amazon as it does for ex-Google?
