FAANG-like companies in Israel
Let's say you work as SWE in a FAANG company in Israel and are pretty satisfied (and a good performer). I wonder whether there are more FAANG-like companies in Israel, primarily categorized by growth potential and compensation, that a move there will be reasonable (and could improve your situation). Ordered by relevance (per each category): The apparent list is: 1. Meta (Facebook) 2. Google 3. DRW 4. Dropbox 5. Snap 6. Amazon 7. Microsoft (very low stock refresh) 8. Salesforce (few data points, no refresh similar to Microsoft) No offices but hire in Israel remotely (I think there must be some good companies here): 1. Brex 2. Stripe (compensation is unclear but assumed to be competitive like in the US) Might be competitive (with offices): 1. Wix (compensation might be competitive for junior/mid offers, unclear for senior and above) 2. Nvidia (compensation is unclear. Mellanox wasn't competitive, but Nvidia could be) 3. Final 4. NSO 5. Absolutely no idea of culture at Israel. I do know Brex has an office at Israel because Brex bought a company in Israel. I also do know (unless I am wrong) from a previous Blind post that Brex pays well to SWEs in Israel as well. I could be wrong there. As for culture in my team, I love it.
I think Snap for the growth part. Not sure about the compensation though

Thanks, I wondered about Salesforce, I can't figure out if they can really compete with Microsoft's compensation (which is the lowest on the list). According to levels-fyi, the compensation in Israel is all over the place. However, many are somewhat low compared to the YOE and Microsoft's compensation to that profile. Do you have any data regarding stock refresh or similar?
I’m not familiar with Israel salaries unfortunately. And no standard refresh. I have been pretty lucky (have a direct line to my SVP), but most get zero. Like a 10% chance any given year from what I hear.

Level 62 and low YOE. isn't 540-600 on the higher end of 62 with low YOE at Microsoft?

Do you have any knowledge that the pay there comparable to FAANGs? According to my understanding, most unicorns in Israel pay lower, unlike Silicon Valley's startups.

I hear Wix is competitive with FAANG. Stripe is also willing to hire remotely in Israel, not sure about pay band.

Regarding Stripe, it looks like there are no openings for R&D most of the time in Israel. Are they also willing to hire in Israel even for roles not explicitly listed as such?
