FB Data Engineer Offer IC4
I got an offer as a Data Engineer at FB at IC4. I was told below offer is top of the band. Below is what I got. Base: 165k Bonus: 10% Stock: 240k/4 years Bonus: 20k Current TC: 170k YOE: 7 ish I have a competing offer with the same TC and they basically just matched it today and told that I have to sign it today if the sign on has to hold. I was able to negotiate and ask them to give me time until Tuesday to decide. Can someone evaluate the above offer? Good offer. How was the interview
The onsite was similar to other experiences candidates have described in blind. Emphasis on product sense in all the rounds, basic level of python coding in two of the etl rounds(as long as you are really comfortable with lists, dictionaries, sets in python, that's good enough), data modeling around some real world product scenario(online gaming, food delivery service etc) and the ownership interview just to test if you fit into their work culture(Just checkout core fb values and relate to it when you answer the questions asked)

Are they giving refreshers after first year ?
Yep, if you join mid year you get prorated refreshers for however long you worked the previous year
That’s a ridiculous IC4 offer; crushed mine (160/160/10%/20k signing) in SMB
