Why do employees who work at Facebook have "Works at Facebook App" and not "Works at Facebook" on their FB profile page? Always thought it looked kinda dumb since "Facebook App" isn't a company.

Still doesn't make sense. If I'm working on a product, I don't say I work AT product, I say I work ON it.
I agree it's dumb. People at Google don't work at "Google Page".
Cause zoomers might not known that Facebook has a social media app too
