Health and wellness is a something I think a lot about and curious about how the onsite Gyms at Apple Compare to the options at FB for anyone that's familiar with both. At FB, I frequented the Gyms in Classic Campus and Building 60 (once it opened) and found that to be quite useful for my needs (strength training and cardio). I'm most curious about Apple Park gym (since my potential job would be on that campus) and how it compares as I've read that's its a 100K SQ FT Facility. I also loved the options to run near FB Campus in Menlo Park but saw some Apple runners circling the loop during my various interview rounds... Same questions apply for the Wellness Center at Apple compared to FB. I got a lot of my medical care with various providers onsite at FB because I live in SF and it was just easier. I did my Physical Therapy and essentially moved my Primary Care to onsite wellness center at FB and took advantage of acupuncture and eye exams. The only thing I didn't do at FB was dental. How does Apple's health services compare? #wellness #health #apple #facebook
I thought it was ridiculous while I was there considering how much money they make.
It actually might be better if it reduces traffic. I’d gladly pay 20 bucks for a lesser used gym
One good thing about Apple’s gym is that you can add family members to your plan for cheap (like $5 a month). However, they can’t go to the one in Apple park, only to a few satellite campus gyms.
How’s the quality of the Apple Park gym? Do they offer classes? My frame of reference is Equinox.
Has this changed or still off limits for family? That is, family not being allowed in Apple Park gym.
I understand employees have to pay $20 per month but does Apple reimbursed its employees towards gym memberships?
Apple’s gym isn’t free. Like $20 a month but includes towel service
$20 isn’t terrible. I’ve worked at a Bay Area gaming company with a similar modest gym fee.
