FB London: GEE intern, now front end E3 looking for a mentor

I start in January and I’ll soon be looking for a mentor. I realized that’s quite common. Having an intern manager was really really helpful, so I thought of doing something similar until I reach senior level myself. Things I’d appreciate: - weekly 1:1s - occasional code reviews to get improvement suggestions - career advice, someone to bounce my ideas back off of, get initial impressions I’m very self-driven and like to take initiative.

At E3, the easiest and maybe best is to get a team mate to mentor you: your tech lead is a common go to for this, or some E5s on the team. E5 to E6 is when you usually start to look for mentors outside the team.
