I have an onsite with Facebook for software engineer in the business operations engineering team. The weird part is the onsite is from 11:15 am to 3 pm. Are onsite interviews usually this short ? Its only 3 hours and 45 minutes in total. The recruiter didnt mention but its most likely for E3 since I only have 1.5 YOE. Any advice on how to prepare and what to expect for interviews? Are there System Design or Object Oriented Design questions for E3? Current TC : 115K
It will probably be 4 interviews and a lunch break. The recruiter should be able to tell you what the interview rounds would be and how to prepare for them.
No breaks
FB recruiters usually give out a lot of info and try to put you at ease. You can just ask them any question or concern. Just ask her for the details
Or him
Did you complete the interview? How did it go?
Not yet
I just had my interview Friday. I had thought it was originally scheduled for 11:45-4:00, but I think it finished up around 3:50. So, yours isn't much shorter. FWIW, mine was for a "senior" position (I didn't ask, but I assume E5 or above).
Seems like five 45 minute interviews, which is standard for Fb. Would you rather hang around longer that day 😂?
I guess no breaks in between interviews? Back to back 5 interviews
