So recently I've started interviewing with FB for enterprise network engineer. I easily passed the code screen, doing the network screen next week. I've got a referral with a company similar to Cruise Automation from a former coworker. He's written a very good letter of recommendation so he's putting his reputation up for me. In the past I've done mostly test automation and some devops. I'd like to end up doing project management. I'm good at PM kinda stuff, not really that interested in coding much more so I know what I'm looking for in the future. I'm a mediocre programmer and would rather be playing outside than learning the next coding nonsense. The question is should I slow down the referral position to try to get in at FB. Is enterprise engineering worth it at FB? Would that be a good way to get to TPM? If it wasn't for the referral I'd have no problem accepting and the denying at the automotive company.
In how many days you receive the feedback for coding phone screen??

What was the code screening round like?
Stupid simple. Sort using built in sort with python. But he seemed more interested in the full end to end read data file, do work, present results than a typical SWE big O bs algorithm question.
