FB impact overload
Is someone on the Facebook friend suggestion team making impact? I am suddenly getting a Facebook email every couple hours with a friend suggestion of every person I ever looked at in past decade. Growth gone negative?
Shut up and take that impact.
On the one hand the experience of every person matters On the other hand - I'm also surprised when I see intelligent people extrapolating their individual experience to what fb does for the billions of other people around the world on fb. Do you really think all of the work is focused on you? At fb scale every minor edge case and unoptimized experience that most other companies would consider a low pri issue influences millions of people.
I suppose as long a I am the product instead of the customer it doesn’t really matter what happens to me as long as the aggregate pays off.
