Have a Facebook phone interview next week and recruiter keeps saying to make sure I code fast and cover 2 questions in 35-40 minutes. Is this true? Does that mean I should just jump in and code right away? Because thats the opposite of every other interview I've done.
Got the same email from recruiter. Also mentioned 2 leetcode hard/medium in 35-40 mins
You still need to ask clarify questions, talk about your thinking process, compare different approaches, consider trade offs, analysis complexity, and then code and test. But it’s true and really important that you should do it quickly and efficiently. Think and act promptly. And try to cover at least 2 problems. This is the tip that helps me pass interviews.
2 medium or 1 hard
Wtf. 2 mediums in 40 mins ? This is getting insane by the day.
did just 1 medium. it was not a LC question. took 30 mins to discuss the approaches and pitfalls and coded in the last 10. still got called for onsite
If it was not an LC question. How do you know if it’s a medium. How do you usually rate problems?
at my level of intelligence anything i cld solve in 30 mins is medium. hard for me is impossible to do unless i have seen it before. I have had done 250 or so in LC n so I know what is medium or hard
I passed a screen with a single LC medium
I got two mediums on their phone screen. Went onsite but no hire
I solved 2 problems, I thought they were medium. Later I looked them up and found them on leetcode, both hard ...
2 medium or 1 easy+1 hard
