I have my FB onsite in a week for MLE, I feel like I’m average in everything, LC, ML and maybe even below average in system design. Already rescheduled so I’m gonna go through onsite anyways. What do you suggest to focus the most in this week? With LC my problem solving might be above average but clean code and implementation I need improvement. Should I just focus on review or solve new LC facebook tagged questions or review Blind curated lists? Or maybe l focus on improving system design? I feel like a bad coding session might be a deal breaker but not necessarily bad system design. Is that true? I know very open ended questions without really knowing where I stand in preparation but any feedback is appreciated.
Do you know the targetted level?
Not exactly, I remember early in the process recruiter was talking about E4/E5 .
Take it easy, interview is way more random than any standardized exam, and the interview essentially is a duration that you spend with your future colleagues to show them you are a fun guy to work with. So just be cool, don’t treat the interview more seriously than a formal webex meeting
Thankss
If not prepared reschedule
FB is a bit particular about code completeness and correctness. Matters more if you’re at a E5 or lower level. Would trade system design off for coding for E5 and lower if you are thinking about fitting in one
What is blind curated lists??
