Is this usual? What does it usually mean? I did not apply to a particular or some set of teams. I was going through general hiring process.
Probably mixed feedback. Getting a manager to back your packet could tip CR in your favor.
What's the process for this? Do recruiters float hiring packet to the internal managers? Recruiter mentioned a couple of teams interested in my background.
Is committee review the final stage before offer? Is there also a debrief from the people who interviewed you before that? I had a recruiter call me and say my case “is looking good” and all but confirm an offer should be coming and then days later got called for a reject... does that mean I was rejected at hiring committee but passed the initial debrief?
That's sad. You get rejects for n number of reasons. Luck also plays a big role. Good luck bro
Debrief with the panel, yes/no to send to candidate review. CR makes call on offer/no offer/more interviews.
What role?

OP did you get the offer?
It’s called pre-slotting. It means someone really wants you.
This may be the case. Recruiter mentioned I have a overall positive feedback. But does it happen that frequent? I was thinking maybe my packet has mixed feedback
