FB vs Amazon vs Google
Asking for a friend wondering which of these three have 1. good learning and tech growth 2. wlb 3. good perks for a senior sde role
My friend says Google
At what level? My friend is at G E5 and he's saying it's really hard to find projects/problems to work on for E6 promotion (not much of learning at G for E5+), while there are a ton at Fb. Wlb at Fb is much worse than G though.
There is no certain answer, don’t know how people are saying any one of them. It totally depends on the team, manager and environment.
Amazon - lots of great teams
Lots of horrible managers, and the pay is much less than G/Fb.
1. Amzn. Go aws. You will learn a ton. 2. Google. Rest and vest 3. Fb pays the most. None of them have all 3.
