Working at Fundrise
I recently got a good offer from Fundrise. I wanted to know how’s the work culture there and how is the work life balance. I’m thinking if I should take it. #SDE #fundrise #engineering Current TC 140k Offer TC 220k
What’s the TC breakdown and level? The VP is a really cool dude. Most the engineers I met are were nice except for maybe 1 who probably thought he was smarter than he actually was.
180 base, 20% bonus. There is an RSU/equity component, but I don’t think I can sell it until the company is either sold or goes IPO.
Worked there in the past great company, this is for senior Sde?
The people are cool, and there are plenty of teams to choose from. Work life balance is what you make it. Which is the standard I guess
Ya the WLB is the most important for me, do you guys have to work more than 40 hours a week? Also what’s your thoughts about the company? Do you see a good future and a road to IPO?
No one really tracks hours like that, but if I have ever worked more than 40 hours, it's because I really wanted to, not because some manager pushed for it. Heck, we have "unlimited" PTO. I think the company's future is bright, and love how detailed the leaders are when talking about it in all hand meetings.
