People working at Deutsche Bank, how are layoffs and work culture this year? Does it make sense to join at this time? Specifically Audit, Risk and Compliance functions in US. Thanks in advance. @deutschebank @deutsche
I think the work culture is fantastic. Some departments were hiring during the pandemic, which is quite indicative of the culture and how dedicated they are to people. Layoffs are not gonna happen this year in those areas. The biggest one last year was the equities business as they were exiting that market. What level are you joining as?
Thanks for your comment. I am joining as AVP.
How is the NY office doing for roles in compliance? I've also heard many people leaving IB in general, how has your experience been within the bank?

Thanks for your response. Would you be able to elaborate?
Culture is not good. No raise this year. Bonus is very little. If you are coming as a VP/AVP you will have to wait at least 5 years for promotion. No respect from senior managers. Also most of the good people have already left.
